Attorney Jim Black has over twenty-two years of experience as an attorney, with 20 plus years in the role of an advocate for injured individuals. For the past 15 years he has focused primarily in the area of workers' compensation. During this 15 year period he has personally represented more workers' compensation clients than any other attorney in Northwestern Illinois. His compassion for meeting the needs of each individual client, his knowledge of the law and his experience as an advocate for the rights of the injured individual resulted in positive outcomes for his clients. Jim Black's aggressive advocacy of his client's rights will lead him to pursue a matter to the highest level. Attorney Jim Black firmly believes that each case belongs to the injured individual and his role is to advocate for that individual and educate him/her regarding his/her rights under the law, therefore empowering the individual to be in control of his/her claim.
